The Zervas After School Program, or Z.A.S.P., provides quality
childcare and offers a challenging range of quiet and active experiences
for children. The physical, social, emotional, and educational needs
of the children are served in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere.
Whenever possible, Z.A.S.P. offers separate programs to better
meet the varied needs of the wide age range being served. Many kindergartners
take advantage of the Kindergarten program offered Mondays, Wednesdays,
Thursdays and Fridays from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Tuesdays
until 4:00 p.m. Kindergartners may also attend Z.A.S.P. from dismissal
to 6:00 p.m. daily. Children in grades three through five are also
eligible for Z.A.S.P.'s RAD program on Tuesdays, which takes them
on special field trips. Finally, Z.A.S.P. also offers programs during
school vacations in December, February and April.
The Zervas After School Program, Inc. is a non-profit corporation
governed by a nine-person board of directors. Any parent whose child
is enrolled in the program for the current or following year is
a member of the corporation and is eligible to serve on the board.
Election of board members and voting on the following year's budget
take place at the spring membership meeting in May. You may call
(617) 965-2655 for tuition and program information.
